Over the years I have learned that lotions, foams, sprays DO NOT compare to a sunless tan from an HVLP gun. It is faster, streak free and flawless. There is just no substitute.
If you try to go from lily white to tan using lotions, foams, gels and cremes there is a 95% chance it will streak and be too dark in all the wrong spots. Sadly that is the reality.
Disclaimer: I do have friends such as Tanya who can use a lotion like a champ, however this takes practice (preferably in the winter when you can cover up your practice sessions with long sleeves and pants.)
SO-start with a professional sunless tan from somewhere like Spa in the City or Call me to schedule a home visit. After your tan use one of the following lotions every other day to maintain the flawless sunless tan.
Hempz Touch of Summer is the very best lotion I have found for daily application where the color builds and there is no streaks, you can pick this up only at Spa in the City for under $20
If you want a drug store brand, this is only one I would use.. however it does have that "sunless tanning smell" where the Hempz does not. :-) Additionally you will need to mix this with a lotion, because it will streak if you put in on right out of the bottle (unless your Tanya) LOL.
